1. Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple.
God, for real? The first song of the list and it has to be Smoke on the Water? Whatever. There's a ridiculous amount of music on itunes, ridiculous. This song reminds me of working changing someone's motoroil out in the sun by the grass. I am a stereotype sometimes.
2. You Must Fight To Survive On The Planet Of The Apes - The Mummies.
They used to show awesome movies on ch. 9 around this time of night on saturday nights! Now they don't. I saw a bunch of movies I love when I was younger at this time slot, including Planet of the Apes. Also it reminds me of that Simpsons with the Planet of the Apes musical.
3. WWIII - KMFDM
It reminds me of any given night that starts off hanging out all mellow like in someone's backyard, but before you know it you're at something crazy, then you're at some party and someone you don't know is talking to you, then you're at a bar and wow a shot of whiskey, and then your at another party and your running to the car for some reason?
4. Supercharger Heaven - White Zombie
When I saw Rob Zombie at the Aragon, it was awesome! I got sprayed with a fire extinguisher. RZ played a bunch of White Zombie songs and I was like, "HELLLL YEAH!"

This reminds me that there's a badass hip hop beat to this song. For real. Also, that I have a favorite Tom Petty album, which means I am getting old :(

That one night one of my friends and me were high as hell on ecstasy and we met up with two of the drinking team. We went to Goldie's and she said, "You guys go to the most random bars..." Later we ended up being crazy at a gallery party. Ha ha!

When I saw Wolfmother. No not really, right after I saw them and was stumbling around because I was stunned at the wall of sound that those guys produced. One of my friends called me and I couldn't even explain myself. I was stone cold sober.

My friend Carmen's birthday last year, when a random party ended up happening at Fester's old place. I was drinking champagne.

Waiting for the southbound red line train on the Wilson stop. The sun was setting, but it was orange, the sky was a dirty yellow.

One of those parties that you can't find, until you pass by the building and you hear the music muffeled behind the door, you open the door and the music tackles you and flashing lights and someone gives you a drink and goddamn it's hot in there.

Looking at a tape made out of red plastic called "Mega Mix Ultra" or something, when I was like 10 years old. Memory is strange. Sometimes I want to remember something and I cant', I just can't Sometimes I'll be walking down the street and some snippet of inane conversation will come back to me for no reason at all.

Listening to the loop while working at Bump City, washing a car during the summer when the car wash garage was humid as a cave.

That one party my sister had at her place and she's like "Yeah invite your friends" and all of these maniacs showed up and proceeded to take over the first floor. Actually I left when they started play Skynard, the song was Simple Man and I was like, "ah nertz to this."

When I saw Slayer at the Riveria and was standing next to some kids. Really! They were looking like scared rabbits so I talked to them for a bit. It was their first concert ever. Soulfly opened! I offered them a joint and they shook their heads... furtively. I also remember screaming along to all of the songs I know.

I got a Conan book by Robert E Howard at a book store I frequent and I was reading it on the train back, yeah, it sounded like this.

I didn't go to my high school prom; I went to a hardcore show that was held in the basement of a thrift store. I ate a bunch of weed earlier and was so stoned it's a miracle that I remember any of that night.

Nothing in particular, but whenever I hear this song before I go out it sorta makes me want to stay in.

That night I took that ecstasy but instead of being a super happy fun night it's a red blur of madness.

When I went to see a Godzilla movie at the Webster Place Theater, the only time I've even been there, and initially took the wrong bus. Ha ha, wow.

That one at Casa De Judd when we were tossing in whatever into a bon fire, like the drunken stoners we were.

Riding in a van? one day going to the Metro, part of a convey that was made up of some of my friends and my sister's friends.

Going to the Albion House with Gabe and getting glitter all over us and shooting off fire works in the yard.

One time when I saw the Slackers I ended up hanging out with 2 girls and we smoked some herb on the way to western. I got one of their phone numbers, but wrote it in a library book. She was like, "What are you reading?" I think it was a biography of David Alan Cole, or someone similar. Anyway I forgot were I re wrote that number.

Driving all night with one of my friends during the first couple of weeks that I got my driver's license.

The Halloween of the dropped sandwich incident.
29. Down at the Rock and Roll Club - Richard Hell.
Hanging out at the Metro's bar with Fester drinking cheap (!) pbr during some shitty bands. We met up at the metro on accident and ended up getting pretty sloshed!
